Legendary Telugu cinema actor Krishna’s sudden demise has left the entire film and political circles in shock. It is widely known that the 79-year-old actor was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Congress Party in 1989. In the span of a five-decade film career, Krishna acted in close to 350 films. In 2016, Krishna announced his retirement from films and politics. Sri Sri was Krishna’s last film as an actor. In 2009, the government of India honored Krishna with Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema.
