Nani’s V to release on digital platforms?

Natural Star Nani, Sudheer Babu, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari came together for Indraganti Mohankrishna’s new film V. It is incidentally, Nani’s 25th film and he is playing a negative lead for the first time. The movie was supposed to release on 25th March just before the Covid pandemic took over. Governments had to introduce lockdown and that pushed the movie release date, indefinitely.

Producers have been waiting patiently for the theatres to reopen or at least the situation to get better. With the situation looking not to improve for another four to five months, the producer Dil Raju has been seriously considering to release the movie on OTT platforms. The news reports suggest that he sold the rights to a company that deals with digital rights of films. We have to wait for the movie producer’s official confirmation on the release date. If the news reports turn out on to be true then it will be the first Telugu big movie to release on OTT platforms.
