Following the massive success of “Dasara” at the box office, popular actor Nani continues to make waves in the industry. His upcoming film, “Hi Nanna,” a family drama helmed by a newcomer and featuring Mrunal Thakur as the lead, has garnered attention. However, the buzz around Nani’s next project has taken an interesting turn.
Initially, Nani had agreed to collaborate with director Vivek Athreya, known for “Ante Sundaraniki,” which featured Nani. However, the film hasn’t taken off as Nani seeks a more high-energy script rather than Athreya’s trademark sensible comedy.
This dilemma prompted Nani to explore a script from a successful Tamil director who recently delivered a hit with a top hero. While details are scarce, Nani appears inclined towards taking on this project. Nevertheless, Athreya has returned with another story, leaving Nani in a quandary.
In the midst of these choices, director Srikanth Odela, who worked with Nani on “Dasara,” is developing a gritty tale for him. This venture will be produced by the same production house that backed their previous collaboration. Nani finds himself torn between choosing the Tamil director’s film post “Hi Nanna” and subsequently moving to Odela’s project or prioritizing Athreya’s film.
