Hero Nani’s upcoming film, Dasara is slated for a pan-India release on March 30, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. Touted as a rustic drama, Dasara is set in the Godavarikhani coal mines backdrop. The makers are promoting the film in a different manner and doing aggressive promotions across the country for the past few weeks.
In on of the recent interactions with a print media, Nani said any given day, commercial films are money spinners in the film industry.”Backbone of Indian film industry is commercial entertainers. If we don’t have those films,there’s no money or revenue flow into the industry”.
Nani also added that”If we don’t make those films, nobody will ever dare to make good films because neither there’s revenue nor anyone goes to theatres”. It is widely known that a few weeks back on the eve of Nani’s 39th birthday on February 24th, the team had birthday celebrations for Nani in thirty-nine theatres across twin Telugu states.Nani’s transformation look with long hair and a thick beard has been receiving positive feedback from the netizens.
Already news came out that Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights of Nani’s Dasara. Earlier, the rights are originally with the Chadalavada brothers. As per the inside reports, the Chadalavada brothers acquired Dasara theatrical rights for Rs 24 crore but after witnessing the response for the first look teaser top producer cum distributor Dil Raju bagged the rights by offering Rs 28 crore.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara is set in the 80s time period in Telangana. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead. Co-starring Saikumar and Samuthirakani in key roles, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. Kollywood musician Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer.
