Natural Star Nani has been planning to release his upcoming film Shyam Singha Roy in theatres on a grand scale, for some time now. Given that this would be the first theatrical release for him in two years, and considering the scale on which the film has been made, Nani is said to be planning a good release time for the film.
On the other hand, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film Akhanda, directed by Boyapati Sinu, is also gearing up for release very soon. This is the third time that Balayya has teamed up with Boyapati Srinu, after delivering two massive hits in the past with him, in the form of Simha and Legend. Hence, there are very good expectations on the film.
Both the films are said to be eyeing December 24th as their release date, and if both of them arrive on the same date, it would be a huge clash that would affect the revenues for both films. Hence, it is now being said that Nani is considering clearing the path for Balayya’s Akhanda so that the film can be released on December 24th, and considering releasing his film towards the end of January or the beginning of February.
