Nani acquired the tag of Natural Star after delivering highly natural performances in almost all of his films, with his boy next door persona. Not just his on-screen persona, but his off-screen persona and charm also added to this. Nani established himself as one of the most bankable actors in Tollywood within a good span of his career, with interesting and unique concepts.
The actor also delivered back to back hits in a row, for a few years, but things started to go south with Krishnarjuna Yuddham. He made a very strong comeback with Jersey after that but struggled with V and Tuck Jagadish in between, until the release of Shyam Singha Roy. V and Tuck Jagadish strayed from what the audience expected from the actor – unique concepts, into a very familiar territory, which didn’t turn out well.
With Shyam Singha Roy, Nani once again brought his niche to the forefront. He stole the show with his performance, and now, he’s coming up with Ante Sundaraniki, another film that seems to be promising the audience wholesome entertainment, laced with his unique style of acting.
