Nani not part of Mani film?

These days the news reports about Mani Ratnam’s films are having more twists and turns than the actual films. There are many reports about who is being cast and who is not in his movies. While the director’s movies are ending up underwhelming creatively and financially, many heroes who once dreamt about acting in his movies are also fearing to give him a chance to direct them.

Recently, there has been major talk about Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu dropping out of his films after initial talks. Now, the director has decided to make an anthology film with different stories stitched into one incident and the major actors from different languages are being cast in this film. Already, Jyothika, Vijay Sethupathi are said to be playing important characters. Along with them, Nani is said to be chosen for another story and character.

Now, the reports suggest that the actor is looking to pull out of the film on the basis of lack of dates. Even though he appreciates the chance and wants to work with the Legend, he thinks the movie could once again bring his career to a halt after he successfully managed to turn the tide over the past seven films. Also, he will be busy with two films in January and the shoot for this movie, needs to commence in January, so the actor is not finding dates to adjust the movies it seems.
