One of the most popular and talented star actors of Telugu Cinema is Nani. He is being praised as Natural Star now. The actor is maintaining a good success streak from last three years as his films are being the ones well-received among the releases. 2017, has been even more successful for him. His market range has increased from 17 -18 crores to 25 crores.
His last release, MCA, Middle Class Abbayi, collected a gross of 50 crores, proving his ever-growing popularity. His films started debuting with handsome opening weekend grosses in Overseas markets too. Hence, the actor felt it is correct time to jack up his remuneration. A source close to him said, “The actor is one of the most friendly stars in the Industry and he has been looking at the trends of his movies too. He did not take this decision after one or two hits but after a consistent run, he decided to take this step forward.”
The source remarked, “If you observe any actor who has a market value of 25 and above, can demand close to 40% of it, as they guarantee that amount to the producer within a weekend or a week. Nani carefully constructed an image for himself and last year, proved that it has been solidified in people’s minds that Nani’s films are worth-a-watch. Also, he is the only actor who is sticking to 3 to 4 films, a year rule and working seriously towards achieving that. If he doesn’t fruit hardwork now, then, when will he do so?” The actor is currently wrapping up his next film, KrishnaArjuna Yuddham and will soon start the regular shoot of Multi-starrer with Nagarjuna.
