Not so many actors even the big stars have been able to pull off a string of hits without breaks. Nani seemed to have cracked the code on how to attract audiences with well packaged even though many exclaimed that such films have no merit in being entertainers. Still, they have become huge hits for Nani and he became the newest star sensation and Mr Consistent at the box office.

But his run of 8 hits as ended with KrishnaArjuna Yuddham. The film did not just end his streak and it also became first flop for Merlapaka Gandhi, the young filmmaker after two hits. Majorly, the movie failed to contend the Rangasthalam storm and also, Nani’s Arjun character didn’t find many takers. Even though Krishna got applause, as the story keeps jumping from one character to another, people did not take up much interest in the film…

Also, the film being too routine did not help its cause even one bit. The movie has been bought by Dil Raju, the producer, outright and his distribution company will lose half of the amount they have invested in buying the rights. Along with it the movie has made distributors to not just believe that every film will be a hit even from a Star who seems to be on a winning streak. But Nani’s next film is a multi-starrer and a huge curiosity is already on the film as it will have Nag and Nani coming together.
