A lot of movies that came out in the past and in the recent past, which included the Brahmin community, have faced a few issues with the community, due to its misrepresentation and a caricaturish representation. With Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film Ante Sundaraniki set to showcase him as a Brahmin boy named Sundar, several doubts have been expressed over how the community would be represented in the film. Given that the film also includes a love story with a Christian girl, the curiosity got bigger.
Talking to the media recently, Nani said that Ante Sundaraniki will not hurt the community and that it neither makes a comment on the community nor the religion and simply talks about the characters involved in the story.
Ante Sundaraniki is directed by Vivek Athreya, while Nazriya Fahadh is making her Telugu debut with the film. The film is all set to be released on June 10th, and has a lot of expectations on it.
