Natural Star Nani has been the only Tollywood actor who has had to release his last two films on OTT platforms, forgoing a theatrical release due to the coronavirus pandemic. V and Tuck Jagdish, both of which were released on OTT platforms, turned out to be huge disappointments for the actor and the audiences as well. With that, all eyes have now turned to his upcoming film, Shyam Singha Roy, which is eyeing a grand theatrical release towards the end of January, or early February 2022.
On the other hand, Nani is currently busy shooting for his next film Ante…Sundaraniki directed by Vivek Athreya. The film marks the Tollywood debut of actress Nazriya Nazim and has decent expectations on it already. He has also singed Dasara, the first look poster of which was released recently. Srikanth will make his directorial debut with this film and SLV Cinemas are the producers. The film is a rustic love story, and the first look poster has already created a good buzz around it.
According to the latest reports, actress Samantha is in consideration to play the female lead in the film. Nani and Samantha previously collaborated for Eega and Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu, both of which turned out to be huge blockbusters at the box office. If Samantha gives her nod for the film, then this would be the third collaboration between the two, and if the film turns out to be a success, then it would make a hattrick for Nani and Samantha.
