Nana Patekar is a legendary actor who has been active in acting in Hindi and Marathi movies. The #MeToo campaign in India saw Dutta accusing him of harassment misconduct in the industry in 2018. Such accusation went viral and it got many people on social media to condemn him. This was at a time when Nana Patekar barely addressed the media.
Later, he said that all such allegations were baseless and untrue. He said he never got angry because he knew the facts and did not commit any offence. Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of bad harassment on the set of the film ‘Horn Ok Please’ where she said that Nana tried to molest her while touching her privates when she was dancing during shooting of a song and dance sequence shot by choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
According to Tanushree, Nana Patekar told the choreographer of the song to put in vulgar moves which he leveraged on throughout the scene. Tanushree left the shoot and the next day she claimed to have been threatened by men linked to Nana Patekar. She revealed that these men beat up her parents’ car with an aim of making her feel threatened.
