Namrata visits Burripalem, a village adopted by Mahesh

Namrata visited the village along with local MP Galla Jayadev to oversee the development work going on. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodar visited one of the villages that the former had adopted a while back. The village, Burripalem, also happens to be Mahesh Babu’s ancestral village his dad’s parents used to live there eons ago. Namrata visited the village along with local MP and Mahesh Babu’s sister Galla Padmavathi and her politico husband Galla Jayadev to oversee the development work going on.

After the release of the Koratala Siva film Srimanthudu, which became a blockbuster, Mahesh Babu had announced that he would be adopting two villages, one each from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He had adopted Burripalam from Andhra and Sidhapuram from Telangana. At the moment, mahesh is busy shooting for Brahmotsavam, so Namrata paid a visit to the village.

Reports suggest that Namrata also met some of the the villagers and had a word with them. The villagers also talked to her about the problems they were facing, hoping they will be alleviated. Before leaving, Namrata also assured the villagers that Mahesh will be visiting soon.
