Namrata Shirodkar married Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and the couple have been ideal couples of Tollywood cinema. She entered into Cinema after winning Femina Miss India title in 1993. She achieved fame with hits like Pukar, Kacche Dhaage, Vaastav: The Reality, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and Asistva. She acted with Mahesh in Telugu in Vamsi and with Chiranjeevi in Anji. During film, Vamsi shoot, Mahesh fell for Namrata and then got married soon after. The couple have two kids.
Now, her name appeared in NCB Drugs investigation as per media reports. Jaya Saha allegedly told about a celebrity, whose name starts with “N” and the media assumed it as a Namrata, claim team members of Namrata. They clarified that Namrata Shirodkar has no business involving drugs – legal or illegal. She has no connections to any drug mafia leaders or peddlers, knowingly said her team. They said that she has been in Mumbai from past week and she will cooperate for any enquiry from Police or any investigation agency, if really her name has been attached or revealed by anyone, told team.
Rhea Chakraborthy’s arrest and interrogation has lead to revelation of many drug peddlers and several celebrities have been revealed to be part of it. But Special Investigation Team of NCB, did not proceed with any arrests.
