The Pushpa 2 theatre stampede case involving Allu Arjun has come into focus again with the actor asked to appear before the Nampally Court on Monday.
The incident happened during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre as we all know where a stampede led to a tragic death of a woman named Revathi. Her young son Sri Tej was also seriously injured and is still recovering.
After investigation, the Chikkadpally Police named Allu Arjun as the 11th accused saying his visit and interaction with fans contributed to the crowd rush.
In total, 23 people including theatre staff and security, have been charged in the case.
Allu Arjun was earlier arrested and later got bail from the High Court. Now, as the case moves toward trial, fresh summons have been issued. It is not yet confirmed whether he will appear in court in person.
