Nagarjuna, Raghavendra Rao, Hathiram Baba, MM Keeravani
Nagarjuna has always experimented with the kind of roles he does and the kind of looks he opts for in his movies. His penchant for always reinventing himself can be compared to none other than Aamir Khan. After opting for a supernatural fantasy like Soggade Chinni Nayana, he will be seen as a quadriplegic man in his next film Oopiri releasing worldwide on March 25th.
However, we hear that for his next venture, Om Namo Venkatesaya, to be directed by K Raghavendra Rao, Nagarjuna will lose weight and grow beard for this devotional film that will go on floors in May 2016.
The film Om Namo Venkatesaya is touted to be based on the life of Lord Venkateswara’s devotee Hathiram Baba. We hear that Nagarjuna will be playing the role of Hathiram Baba. MM Keeravani is slated to score the music for this new movie. The writers and the makers are still busy giving finishing touches to the script before the shooting starts in the summer.
Nagarjuna has worked in a slew of devotional films in the past like Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shird Sai which were directed by Raghavendra Rao.
