Nagarjuna’s Special Plans for his 100th Film

We had already reported that Dhamaka writer Prasanna Kumar is on directional trials. Reportedly, the talented writer met senior star Nagarjuna and narrated to him a point. Impressed with the point Nagarjuna asked Prasanna to develop the idea into a full-fledged script. A few days back we exclusively revealed that the film is going to be a period drama set in the 80s time period.

News also came out that noted actor Allari Naresh is locked for a key role in the movie. An official announcement regarding the project and Naresh’s entry will be out soon, say sources. Already news came out that the project is going to be made with a whopping Rs 50 crore budget. Noted producer Srinivasaa Chitturi will be bankrolling the movie under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. The film marks as 99th project for Nagarjuna.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that for his 100th project, Nag will be joining forces with Kollywood director Mohan Raja. It is widely known that recently Mohan Raja directed Chiranjeevi starrer GodFather. News is also that Nag’s film will also have his younger son Akhil in a key role. An official announcement regarding the project is expected to be out this year itself.
