We had already reported that Dhamaka writer Prasanna Kumar is on directional trials. Reportedly, the talented writer met senior star Nagarjuna and narrated to him a point. Impressed with the point Nagarjuna asked Prasanna to develop the idea into a full-fledged script. A few days back we exclusively revealed that the film is going to be a period drama set in the 80s time period.
Now, the latest news is that actor Allari Naresh is locked for a key role in the movie. An official announcement regarding the project and Naresh’s entry will be out soon, say sources. Already news came out that the project is going to be made with a whopping Rs 50 crore budget. Noted producer Srinivasaa Chitturi will be bankrolling the movie under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.
Earlier reports came out that GodFather fame Mohan Raja will be directing Nag’s next but there is no official confirmation regarding it, later. As his last film, The Ghost ended up as a disaster at the box office, Nagarjuna Akkineni is keen on bouncing back with Prasanna Kumar Bezawada’s film, say inside reports.
Apart from Prasanna Kumar Bezawada’s project, Nagarjuna is even planning two different projects with his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil respectively reveal sources.
