Nagarjuna’s much-awaited prequel back in the news

Akkineni Nagarjuna a few years back scored his biggest hit in the form of Soggade Chinni Nayana. Kalyan Krishna is the director of the movie. After the huge success of the film, Nagarjuna has announced a prequel with the title Bangarraju and the director has worked on it. However, the project got delayed as Nagarjuna was not fully satisfied with the final draft.

Kalyan Krishna kept working on that and there has been a progress at last. It is said that the director is now ready with the final version and Nagarjuna was finally impressed with the script. He gave his nod. Nagarjuna has recently completed the shooting of his upcoming film Wild Dog and he will start the shooting of his next in the direction of Praveen Sattaru once Bigg Boss Season 4 is completed.

So Bangarraju might start during the second half of 2021.
