In a kind and peaceful move, Nagarjuna has taken back his defamation case against Telangana minister Konda Surekha even though he had earlier said he would not compromise when it comes to insults against his family.
Surekha posted a public apology on Twitter saying she never meant to hurt or defame Nag or his family. She said she regretted the misunderstanding caused by her words and withdrew them and said sorry.
King explained why he decided to drop the case. He said that if the comments were only about him he could have forgiven easily but speaking badly about his family was unacceptable.
However since the minister admitted her mistake and apologized sincerely so he chose not to drag the issue for years. He added that public figures must be careful with their words.
Everyone should understand that you should never hurt or defame anyone because it can come back to you very fast.
