After RGG, my next film could be Mahabharata and I was asked by the writer Vasudevan Nayar to play, Karna role in the movie.

“I’m aware of Shrikumar’s efforts to make the movie from past four years and I got this offer, two years ago. Recently, too Vasudevan asked once again for my dates. I told him I will be a part of the movie if my character is also given enough importance and the writer said, it will be a prominent role. I’m waiting for the project to shape up completely and then I can share more details about it.”
Well, few other big names like Kamal Hasan, Amitabh Bachchan are also being heard to be part of the cast of this huge film. Currently, a Kerala based right wing committee is opposing the title of the film and asking it to be changed from Mahabharata to some other as the movie is not based on original Vedavyasa rendition.
