Akkineni Nagarjuna famously dodged the matter of the ticket prices issue in Andhra Pradesh, during the press conference held for his film Bangarraju, which was released on January 14th. He said that it was not the right stage to talk politics, and even said that his movie would in no way be affected because of the reduced ticket prices. Nagarjuna’s comments didn’t sit well with many who have been opposing the matter.
Now, Nagarjuna has taken a highly controversial decision of inviting Andhra Pradesh Cinematography minister Perni Nani as the Chief guest for the success celebrations of Banagarraju, in Rajahmundry. This has reportedly highly upset Tollywood celebrities, who have been fighting against the AP government and its decision to significantly reduce ticket prices in the state.
Perni Nani has extensively been featured in this issue, as he is the face of the issue on behalf of the AP government. On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi recently met with AP CM Jagan and said that the discussion about the ticket prices went on well with the CM and that he’s expecting a positive resolution.
