Puri Jagannadh got his first chance to direct a star hero after Badri with Shivamani. Nagarjuna liked his style of writing after watching Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi and gave him the offer to direct him. Puri utilised it to create a memorable character for Nagarjuna as Shivamani. The first half of the movie and character are Nagarjuna are still popular among fans and common audiences.
After Super, both of them did not come together for a film but they have been cordial to each other at public events even though there were rumours about a fall-out between the two. Well, Nagarjuna shared this fan made video, where Bhaviri Ravi, a senior mimicry artist dubbed for his Shivamani character in Poorna Market scene altering dialogues to fit the Corona Virus situation and importance of mask in these times. Nagarjuna said that Puri Jagannath might have written similar kind of lines for his character had he did the film now. Puri replied that the video was super and then Nagarjuna said that he is going back to those good old memories during the lockdown period and director replied that he is missing him too.
Nag shared the video and tweeeted,
