Akkineni Nagarjuna, a prominent actor in the Indian film industry, is known for his unique charm and aura. While he has a dedicated fan base, his recent film choices have faced challenges in finding the right scripts to impress the audience. Movies like ‘Ghost’ and ‘Wild Dog’ failed to make a significant impact, and the rom-com ‘Manmadhudu 2’ met with disastrous results.
Currently, Nagarjuna is working on a film titled ‘Naa Saami Ranga,’ and the glimpse that was released a few weeks ago received a positive response from his fans. The makers are targeting a Sankranti release, and the shooting is progressing rapidly. Notably, Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun are playing key roles in this movie.
Reports suggest that around 50% of the shooting has already been completed, with a new schedule set to begin on November 6th in Mysore. Interestingly, Mysore holds a special sentiment for Nagarjuna’s fans, as his last two hits, ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Bangarraju,’ were shot there and turned out to be profitable ventures.
Nag Fans are hopeful that the same sentiment will work for ‘Naa Saami Ranga.’ The film’s story and dialogues are penned by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, with Vijay Binni directing it. The music is composed by the renowned MM Keeravani. The official release date is yet to be confirmed.
