Nagarjuna never blamed me : Ram Gopal Varma

Ram Gopal Verma is promoting Bhairavageetha in Telugu and Kannada. He talked about Officer debacle and his next movie, Lakshmi’s NTR too.

He said, “I never saw a person with such visual mastery like Siddharth. He made the movie better than my expectations. He brought new vocabulary to films and I am impressed by that.”

About Officer, he said, “I work similarly for all my movies. Some shape up good and some go wrong. I can’t keep grudges about it. Even Nag never treated me differently based on the movies and their results. He did not blame me and I don’t blame him. It was a collective effort and we failed to connect with audiences.”

He then talked about Lakshmi’s NTR and said, “I am not going dwell in details. But never ever Balakrishna asked me to drop the film or he ever sent any messages through others. I am making a film that excites me more and I believe they, NTR makers, are making their film. We can co-exist and work peacefully.”
