Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Verma are coming back together for a movie. This time, they have decided to go for a cop drama and the movie is said to be an intense film about the life of a cop who keeps duty above everything. Previously, the combination did a revolutionary action film – Shiva, a Love Story – Antham and socio-fantasy comedy – Govinda Govinda. Keeping up with genre variations, they decided to come with a cop thriller now.
RGV released a poster with all the important character stuff that Nagarjuna uses as the cop in the film. The character is said to be the most powerful one that Nag has ever played on screen til date. Nagarjuna played a cop in Nirnayam, Rakshana and Shivamani. All films have managed to bring in different sides of cops. In Nirnayam he is more an youngster who is understanding his responsibilities as a cop in a love story. Then in Rakshana, he is an intense cop who doesn’t know the word compromise. In Shivamani, a love struck cop who revolts against a Mafia don and burns down his entire empire waiting for his love to return to him.
Now, the character wil be a bit aged to those early cops and more intense on screen. A test shoot has been conducted by RGV with Nagarjuna and he liked the output it seems. On 20th November, in the morning time exactly at 10:30 AM, the shoot wil start in Glass House at Annapurna Studios, where Shiva first shot has been taken.
