The World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) is currently taking place in Mumbai and will continue till Sunday. Many top stars like Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan have already attended. Today actor Nagarjuna took part in a panel discussion and also launched the Telangana stall at the event.
During the discussion on Pan-India cinema Nagarjuna shared that audiences enjoy watching larger-than-life characters on the big screen.
He mentioned that films like Pushpa earned more money outside the Telugu states and that most people watch movies like Pushpa, KGF and Baahubali to experience their grand visuals and storytelling.
He said people love watching powerful characters like Pushpa Raj, Rocky Bhai and Baahubali and he personally enjoys these kinds of films.
Nagarjuna also pointed out that these movies became successful not only because of the hero’s role but also due to strong content. The panel also included Anupam Kher, Karthi, and Khushboo.
