Nagarjuna gains negative buzz for ANR Award!

Akkineni Nagarjuna has been staying away from the spotlight has his movies are not scheduled for release anytime soon. But the actor has been all of a sudden dragged into the mud with the ANR Award announcement. We do not know if the actor is using it just for the purpose of business or is he genuinely compelled to give a famous personality the award but him announcing it to SS Rajamouli has come under public scanner like never before. Many are saying that there are many more celebrities and veterans who deserve the award and the actor has jumped the gun soon to give it to an young filmmaker like SS Rajamouli.

Even though he did give an epic blockbuster to Telugu Cinema in Baahubali, as the award has been handed over to veterans like Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Dev Anand earlier, the actor is being accused of making the award another profitable equation. Many argue that Krishna, Krishnam Raju and even other legends in Indian Cinema have done lot more than SS Rajamouli to deserve the award.

Also, the family deciding to integrate the Annapurna International School for Film Making into the award event has become a point of interest too. They are indicating that he and family is using ANR’s name to popularise their institution and also by doing favours to a maker, he is planning to produce films with him. All said and done, Naga Susheela came out in defense and support of their decision and said that the entire family is behind Nagarjuna and they did not take up the decision in an haste. But the social media is still abuzz about it and we can only wait and watch until Nag decides to clarify these questions raised by various people in media!
