Akkineni Nagarjuna has been the man in Telugu Film Industry to encourage new talent and new subjects. This year he acted in Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri, both being different subjects, one village fantasy thriller and other urban based friendship a quadriplegic billionaire and slumdog. Both the films have worked big time at box office and he is on a roll with back to back successes since Manam.
He is completing his next Om Namo Venkatesaya at a fast pace looking for a Sankranthi release. The movie has him playing a devotee role after 10 years since Sri Ramadasu. He did a devotional movie with Raghavendra Rao in 2013 as Shirdi Sai. This is the fourth collaboration of the actor and legendary director in the devotional genre.
After this movie, he already accepted to act in the direction of Omkar in his popular film Raju Gari Gadhi sequel and even though there are many speculations about his role, it will be revealed only after the shooting starts in December. Nag will participate in January end.
He also accepted to be a part of another movie with Omkar after sequel for Soggade Chinni Nayana, Bangarraju and another movie in Dil Raju production. The movie will be produced by Annapoorna Studios after Akhil, Chaitanya and Bangarraju movies. So Nagarjuna found a great talent in Omkar that impressed him so much.
