Akkineni Nagarjuna, the King of romance in Tollywood, is no stranger to taking risks and proving all the naysayers wrong, as he has done it time and again. However, there have also been those times when the actor wasn’t able to prove the naysayers wrong, and now, he’s all set to take a new risk, one that has a lot at stake.
The race for releasing films for Sankranthi 2022 has become increasingly dangerous, especially after the announcement of Rajamouli’s RRR on January 7th. Many of the big films that have ancient their releases for Sankranthi 2022 are now said to be reconsidering their release dates, as they want to avoid clashing with RRR, with the exception of Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam.
While all those films that have already announced their release dates are now contemplating different release dates are considering other release dates, Nagarjuna is said to be aiming to release his upcoming film, Bangarraju, the sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana, for Sankranthi 2022. Soggade Chinni Nayana went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2016 when it was released for Sankranthi 2016, but with the situations vastly different now, experts feel that Nagarjuna is taking a huge risk.
