Naga Vamsi Bags Jailer 2 Telugu Theatrical Rights

The Telugu theatrical rights of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited Jailer 2 have reportedly been locked. Naga Vamsi, who is currently in Chennai, has closed the deal for a fancy price.

The film is directed by Nelson, with whom Naga Vamsi shares a good professional bond.

He has also paid an advance to Nelson for the director’s upcoming project. Producers Asian Suniel and Dil Raju were also in talks for the Telugu rights.

However, Naga Vamsi has emerged successful in the race. An official announcement is expected soon. Jailer 2 has faced several release rumours, with some portions reportedly reshot.

The team have reconfirmed its October 15th theatrical release. Sun Pictures is producing the film while Anirudh is composing the background score.
