Naga Chaitanya to be a part of sports drama?

Akkineni family scion Naga Chaitanya has been concentrating on romantic and family entertainers from past few years. He understood that he needs a little more time to do action thrillers and started building his career around family films. His Majili has become a blockbuster with highest return on investment for any of his films. His next film, Venky Mama also managed decent returns. Now, he is shooting for Love Story by Sekhar Kammula with Sai Pallavi as his leading lady.

Soon, he will start shooting for the film, Thank You, in the direction of his film Manam fame, Vikram Kumar. Dil Raju is producing Thank You and the movie shoot will begin in November, as per the sources. Now, we hear that the actor has listened to a sports drama script from director, Venky Atluri who started shooting of his film Rang De, recently. The young director made a successful debut with Tholiprema and directed, Akhil’s Mr. Majnu. He is currently shooting Rang De with Nithiin and Keerthi Suresh. If Naga Chaitanya gives green signal to his script, the shoot of the film could start from next March for a Dussehra release say sources.
