Thandel is the most expensive film in Naga Chaitanya’s career. He dedicated over a year to filming and was actively involved in pre-production.
There were rumors that he charged double his usual fee, but that’s not true. He took his regular Rs. 10 crore remuneration and didn’t ask for more since the producers already spent a huge budget beyond his market range.
Confident in the film, he also promised to give extra time and effort, putting in work equal to two films. The producers have now recovered most of their investment through non-theatrical deals.
Allu Aravind is releasing the film in most areas himself. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.
Top technicians like Devi Sri Prasad, Sham Datt, and Naveen Nooli worked on this film, which is inspired by a real-life incident. Produced by GA2 Pictures, Thandel is set to release on February 7th.
