Naga Chaitanya is one of those actors who always had to face failures immediately after a good hit. Premam and Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo changed his fortunes after a disastrous DohChay and the actor wanted a hit that can give him a further push in the audience to move on with confidence. He is opined to be one among the actors from Akkineni Family to carry forward the legacy of romantic stories. Even in his career he found success only with romantic films with Thadaka as an exception. After Oka Laila Kosam, that became a moderate success, Akkineni Nagarjuna took it on himself to give his son the best story in his career to further his cause as a hero.

With Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam, the actor and father has kept his word as a producer too. The movie opened to a career best opening for Naga Chaitanya with good popular songs from Devi Sri Prasad. The music, especially, the title track and Brahmarambha ki nacchesanu became good hits and Chalapathi Rao controversy also added to the publicity of the movie. With decent buzz, the movie collected more than 24 crores gross in its first week, making it the career best for Naga Chaitanya after Premam.

Premam ended at a good 22 crores share in its full run and the movie collected a share of 17.4 crores in its first week. The number of theaters in Nizam and Andhra region have increased in the second weekend and the second Friday, showed a great sign of stability for the movie. The movie is well on course to enter the 30 crores club, share for Naga Chaitanya, proving to be his career highest in the long run. Right now, Naga Chaitanya is busy shooting for his next film with Krishna as director and Lavanya Tripati as the female lead.
