Nag to debut in Malayalam movies

Nagarjuna Akkineni has been the man to welcome many innovations and join different language films even when he is at the peak of his popularity as the Star hero. That very nature made him a person who believes in script and not in individuals. In the beginning of his career, Nagarjuna after a slew of films with many popular Telugu filmmakers decided to break the routine by working with directors from other languages.

He worked with Priyadarshan, Mani Ratnam, Fazil and many others. Now, he got an offer from Priyadarshan to share screen with Mohan Lal in his next Malayalam film. The movie is said to be a period drama with equal characters to Nagarjuna and Mohan Lal. Even though it is tough for him to learn Malayalam at this point, the actor decided to take on the challenge.

He will join the sets of the film, once the shoot starts, later this year. Right now, Nagarjuna completed shooting for Officer with Ram Gopal Verma and is shooting for his movie with Nani, in the direction of Sriram Adittya. He has two more films in the pipeline that will be announced once he finalises the scripts. The actor is experimenting even at this stage of his career keeping up with the name, he earned throughout his career.
