Nag still in hope of that remake

Akkineni Nagarjuna after the debacle of Manmadhudu 2 has taken some time off and is now coming up with the film Wild Dog which is being directed by a debutant. Wild Dog is in the final stages of production. Due to the pandemic, the shooting has been stalled. Nagarjuna is not keen to resume the shoot immediately. He is not in a hurry. Post Wild Dog, Nagarjuna is going to play the lead role in Praveen Sattaru’s action thriller. Asian Cinemas is going to produce the movie. It is going to start early next year, once Nagarjuna completes Wild Dog.

For many years, Nagarjuna is showing interest in remaking Bollywood hit movie Raid. However, he is in search of a suitable director and that is not happening. Nagarjuna is going to produce this remake on Annapurna Studios banner. An official announcement will be made regarding the project once the director is finalized.
