Bigg Boss Season 3 saw Nagarjuna taking up hosting duties of the reality show for the first time. The makers decided to keep the show less controversial fearing anything similar like how Kaushal Manda’s participation in Season 2 turned out to be. They wanted Nagarjuna to be a friendly host who doesn’t talk about the issues or give lectures. The makers thought such kind of hosting has landed Nani in trouble with the family audiences and helped one contestant to grow bigger and Bigger.
But that too backfired a bit with many complaining that Nag is only trying to address the issue nominally, and then skipping ahead. They wanted to see Nagarjuna blowing crackers against the contestants in his own way while being friendly. The makers and the actor have taken that feedback seriously. In the second weekend itself, he started pointing out glaring mistakes of the contestants and took nice “class” of each of them. Now, audiences are appreciating his hosting in this season more than the first time.
