Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Pan India star Prabhas, is a high-budget film produced by C Ashwini Dutt and his daughters Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under “Vyjayanthi Movies”.
As the movie thrives at the box office, Nag Ashwin praised Prabhas on Twitter.
He wrote, “This man sitting casually there is the reason for all this, unbiasedly the biggest box office star of this era… He gave our production the confidence to do what we did, he gave me the freedom to do what I did… and so many intelligent inputs helped guide the film to what it is… everyone’s darling, our Bhairava, and now the world’s K____.”
The theatrical revenue from ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was Rs. 381 crores. To break even, the film needs to earn a total of Rs. 385 crores.
In the first six days, the movie earned Rs. 315.6 crores. It still needs to collect Rs. 69.4 crores more to break even.
