Director Nag Ashwin who delivered a blockbuster with Kalki 2898 AD, is already planning the sequel. However, the second part will take time to go on floors, as lead actor Prabhas is currently occupied with other commitments.
At a recent event, Nag Ashwin was asked about the timeline for Kalki 2. Staying true to his humorous style, he replied, “Last time, I said Kalki would release when 3-4 planets align. Now, maybe the sequel will release when 7-8 planets align,” drawing laughter from the audience.
While fans eagerly wait for updates on Kalki 2 new rumours have started circulating. It is being speculated that Nag Ashwin may soon collaborate with Bollywood star Alia Bhatt on a fresh project.
Though nothing has been officially announced yet the buzz has certainly piqued interest. For now, fans can only wait and watch what’s next from the visionary director.
