Nag Ashwin Describes His Reasons For Hiding Krishnakumar Face

The movie “Kalki 2898 AD“, starring Prabhas has been a huge blockbuster. Directed by Nag Ashwin, it combines mythology with sci-fi elements and includes parts of the Mahabharata story.

Actor Krishnakumar Balasubramanian played the role of Lord Sri Krishna in the film, but his face was never shown.

In a recent interview, Nag Ashwin explained that he chose to keep Lord Krishna’s character as a silhouette without a distinct identity to maintain a sense of mystery.

He emphasized that there are no plans to reveal Krishna’s face in future.

Despite not showing Krishnakumar’s face, the character received positive feedback from audiences, especially due to Arjun Das‘ dubbing for the role.
