Nag and Nani to start shoot from Ugadi

Nagarjuna made a name for himself with films like Shiva, Geetanjali, Antham, Jaitayatra, Manam, Oopiri that he stands for new age cinema and new directors. He joined hands with Ram Gopal Verma, after so many years for a new film, Officer, because RGV promised him a different film from all his recent and earlier films. The duo is doing another experiment and hoping that it would click like their earlier films. Anyways, Nagarjuna has become trendsetter with new style films and he is trying out a multi-starrer after a long time.

Before, he acted with Nandamuri Harikrishna for a multi-starrer and also, Jagapathi Babu had a minor role in Nagarjuna’s Raavoyi Chandamama. After a long time, Nagarjuna is sharing screen with Nani in a multi-starrer. Even though Manam, is a multi-starrer, it is more of a Akkineni family ensemble movie than a multi-starrer. Nani is also known for being very innovative and different on screen. Mainly his story selection is to be praised barring few films. He is known for being a good family actor as well.

So, a romantic King as Don and a family actor as doctor, will evoke major laughs among the audience. Sriram Adittya is directing the film and the regular shoot will start from Ugadi – Telugu New Year. From 18th March, the shoot will begin and major sequences will be shot in April after a mini schedule from 18th as per the sources. Heroines in the movie are yet to be announced officially. Mani Sharma is composing music for the film and Ashwini Dutt is the producer.
