Srinivasa Chittoori, Tollywood producer, first suffered troubles with his maiden film “Seetimaarr,” starring Gopichand, which had a middling response and flopped. Undaunted, he went on to make three more films, “Warrior,” “Custody,” and “Skanda,” all of which were flops.
Despite high hopes for “Skanda” to be a blockbuster, it disappointed at the box office, leading to financial challenges for the producer. However, Srinivasa’s fortunes took a positive turn with the release of “Na Saami Ranga,” starring Nagarjuna, which became a big hit during Sankranthi.
Prior to the film’s release, he secured table profit by selling theatrical rights to Nagarjuna, covering the entire budget. This success not only brought relief to Srinivasa Chittoori, who had previously struggled with compensating buyers for “Skanda,” but also generated additional income through overflow revenues post-release.
The film’s accomplishment was attributed to a carefully planned release strategy, a limited budget, and a short production timeframe. Now buoyed by the success of “Na Saami Ranga,” Srinivasa Chittoori is poised to venture into more film projects, leveraging the positive response and warm reception from audiences.
