Muzammil Ibrahim recently spoke about his past relationship with Deepika Padukone in an interview. He shared that they met during their early modeling days, when both were just starting out.
Muzammil said their bond was special and based on friendship and respect. Although they broke up after two years he said there are no hard feelings and he doesn’t regret his decision to walk away.
In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Muzammil admitted that Deepika proposed to him, but he chose to end the relationship.
He recalled meeting her during a fashion show where they both were models. Deepika had seen his earlier work and liked him.
They grew close quickly, but soon had to travel separately for work, he went to Scotland and she to London, just as their careers were beginning to grow. Despite the breakup, Muzammil said they continue to share mutual respect.
