Some bigs are creating history, not only with the amount of money they are paying their stars but also directors. Reportedly, for the yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu blockbuster with Mahesh Babu, Murgadoss is getting paid a whooping 20 crores. The movie has a budget of over 100 crores and is reportedly going to increase much more in the coming days. Buzz is even Mahesh Babu, is getting paid a whooping remuneration although the exact figure has not been disclosed yet.
The lead actress in the film, B’Town beauty, Parineeti Chopra is also apparently getting around 3 crores. Although a well- known through out the country, her remuneration is testimony to the fact that our film industry is still not evolved enough to bridge the wage disparity, even in high budget movies like these when everyone seems to be getting paid well. Tch-tch, when will we change?
