Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made life easier in many ways but few are also misusing it. Deepfake technology is now being used to create fake videos.
After actress Rashmika, Mrunal Thakur has become the latest victim. She shared a post on X, warning people who are creating and sharing fake videos using her image.
Mrunal said that making or spreading deepfake content with her likeness is illegal and unacceptable.
She also warned that anyone who continues to misuse her identity will face legal action at any cost. Many fake videos of the actress have appeared online recently worrying her fans.
Many people are now demanding strict police action and stronger cyber laws to punish those responsible and prevent such incidents from happening again for sure.
