Mrunal Thakur discusses filming “Kudiye Ni Teri Vibe” from the film “Selfiee,” which stars Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi.
The dance routine “Kudiye Ni Teri Vibe” from the film “Selfiee,” which stars Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Nushratt Bharuccha, was filmed, according to actor Mrunal Thakur.
She claimed that learning the dance moves was difficult because they were unlike usual Bollywood or other Indian styles and that she had to take time away from her other assignment to practise.
Mrunal Thakur said: “It was wonderful to learn a different dance form. It has a vibe to itself as the lyrics of the song go too. It was very different from Bollywood and any kind of Indian style, so I am excited to do something very different which has action in it too. This pushed me to go out of my comfort zone and, as an actor, I should never restrict myself.”
More than proving to people that I can do something new, it was a challenge for myself. I wanted to own myself and own my body and own my dancing skill and be as smooth as the song is,” Mrunal Thakur continued by describing how she made an effort to coordinate her dance techniques with the song’s melody and lyrics.
Mrunal began her career in television and landed the lead part in “Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan” while still a college student. She later joined up for the most well-known show, “Kumkum Bhagya,” and she also participated in “Box Cricket League 1” and “Nach Baliye 7” as a participant.
She also appeared in the worldwide movie “Love Sonia” as the title character. She joined the cast of “Jersey” in 2022 and starred opposite Shahid Kapoor in Hanu Raghavapudi’s “Sita Ramam,” her first Telugu movie.
She added that time management was crucial because she was studying the dance moves for “Kudiye Ni Teri Vibe” while simultaneously filming a Telugu movie.
While I was filming this song, my Telugu movie was in production. I had to alter my mental landscape, which may be somewhat taxing. So that motivated me to work under all circumstances,” said Mrunal Thakur, who is preparing for her future roles in the dramas “Pippa” and “Gumraah,” in which she will be paired with Aditya Roy Kapur and Ishaan Khatter. She has already begun filming for the Telugu film she is starring in with Nani, a south Indian actor.
