Gossip columns and social media have been buzzing about a possible romance between Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush.
The talk grew louder when Mrunal started following Dhanush’s sisters on Insta leading many to suspect something beyond friendship.
In a recent interview, Mrunal shut down the rumours, making it clear that Dhanush is “just a friend”. She also explained that his presence at her film events was not because she invited him, it was his friends in the cast who did.
Still, she didn’t reveal why she suddenly followed his sisters. Dhanush, who divorced his wife Aishwarya after 18 years of marriage, has been spotted at two of Mrunal’s events. Mrunal, meanwhile has been single since her last breakup.
On the work front Dhanush is busy with upcoming Tamil projects while Mrunal awaits the release of her Telugu film Dacoit.
