Mr. Majnu was a do or die vehicle for Akhil and the young hero needed this film to click at any cost. But that did not happen as the film opened to some disappointing response from the critics.
But the collections are decent as the film made 4.2 crores on the first day worldwide. These are okay for the first day and everything depends on how the film does from today onwards as the weekend is on.
The pre-release business is evaluated at 24 crores and it will be an uphill task for the film to make that sort of money. The only food things are that there is no major competition for the film in the coming days.
