Radhe Shyam marks the first release of Young Rebel Star Prabhas after Saaho. The film is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and has Pooja Hegde as its leading lady. The teaser of the film which was released earlier this year, created huge expectations on the film, making it one of the most anticipated films in India this year.
Sukumar and Allu Arjun are collaborating for the third time, this is enough for Pushpa to be one of the most anticipated films of this year. Apart from that, the teaser that was released earlier this year is another major factor for that. Added to these factors is the involvement of Fahadh Faasil as the lead antagonist, making Pushpa one of the most anticipated films in the country.
3. Maha Samudram
Sharwanand hasn’t tasted proper success in a few years now. The promotional material of Maha Samudram, the story outline and the actors involved in the film have certainly raised the expectations on the film.
Puri Jagannath and Vijay Deverakonda are two eccentric personalities in their own right. A film in their combination, being made on a pan-Indian level, certainly leads to huge expectations. To top it up, Bollywood producer Karan Johar is co-producing the film, and Ananya Panday is the leading lady in the film.
Nothing new about RRR can be said, that hasn’t already been said several times before. Put together Rajamouli, NTR and Charan, and you already have a huge combination. Add to that actors from the world, a massive budget and a periodic backdrop, you have a film that you can’t wait to watch.
Koratala Siva has come to be known as a man who mixes commercial cinema with societal problems in the right way. All of his films have an underlying message, perfectly laced with the commercial elements that audiences want. With Megastar involved in the project, the expectations and anticipation are certainly raised heavily.
Akhanda marks the third collaboration between Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu, and if their track record is anything to go by, Akhanda is going to be another roaring film, which is going to showcase Balakrishna at his finest. If this isn’t something to look out for, we don’t know what else is.
