Hollywood’s The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the most successful cinematic universe in history. Many other filmmakers have tried to recreate the same magic with their own cinematic universe, but have failed at it. There are different types of cinematic universes in Bollywood as well, notably Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, but Tollywood hasn’t had a cinematic universe yet.
Young director Prashanth Varma is now creating a brand new cinematic universe in Tollywood, starting with his film Hanuman, which is being led by Teja Sajja, who will be seen in the titular role. The film was announced some time ago, and the first look of the will be revealed on 18th September at 10:08 AM. The film will be the first in the world of Anjanadri, as per the poster that was released to announce the news.
Prashanth Varma and Teja Sajja have previously collaborated together for Zombie Reddy, which was released this year, and turned out to be a success. Zombie Reddy is the first of its kind film in Telugu, and given its success, there are good expectations on Hanuman.
